Here is my good friend and BFHA guitarist Pete Lloyd. Pete is an author who wrote a really kick-ass book called "Avatars: The Fugue". He's almost finished the sequel to it but I don't know what it's going to be called. I think it's going to be called "Avatars: Ghastly Gets Ripped Apart By Zombies".
No seriously! I get killed in the sequel. Pete came to CNX with me this year to sell copies of his first novel and one of the schemes he used to sell it was, you buy a copy of the book at the con, leave your name, and you'll be a victim in the sequel. I was going to wait until after the con to buy a copy of his book but I couldn't turn down a chance to be killed in some horrible way in a novel.
I don't know what trick he's going to use to sell the second book. Maybe, "buy this book and you'll be ressurected as a hideous undead abomination whose existance is a cruel rape upon the laws of man and nature". Hell, I'd buy again!
Anyways, like Monica and myself Pete was there for the old band I Love My Shih' Tzu. He does a lot of rythme guitar stuff when I'm playing lead guitar stuff on the Hohner Pianet-T and a lot of lead guitar stuff when I'm playing the organ. Very versitile that way.
His wee young daughter also come up with the lyrics for one of the band's songs. She's already got her lawyers after us for her cut of the SOCAN cheques. Curses! Damn the CRIA for drilling IP Law into their heads in preschool. The bastards!
