This is my Casio CZ-1 synthesizer. These things are as common as dirt. Everyone in the 80s had either a Casio CZ or a Yamaha DX, both machines were very similar. It's a hell of a cool machine capable of some very interesting sounds. It's a little difficult to program until you get your head around it then it becomes much easier. There were a number of different CZ models. The CZ-101 and the CZ-1000 (both the same machine, the 101 just had mini keys and the 1000 had full sized keys and membrane control panel) were the most popular of the line.
This was my very first MIDI synthesizer and I've used it in more recordings than I can count. It's a very versitile synth.
Incidently, for my american friends' information, in Canada we pronounce the name of this synthesizer as "SEE-ZED" not "SEE-ZEE".
